The iFestival Application for the iPhone has been scheduled for release in early April, this looks a very realistic goal as the application is now complete. Only a small amount of polishing needs to be done before we send it off to mighty Apple for approval.
Once the app is approved in the iTunes App Store for purchase everyone who signed up to receive an email, will get an email, along with people on Twitter and Facebook.
To clarify, the application will initially contain this feature set...
- Countdown to V Festival
- Stage listing adjusted to the location you're visiting
- The lineup per stage
- V Festival Twitter Feed
- Artist Twitter Feed
- iFestApp Twitter Feed
- Fan Tweets
- The ability to post to Twitter from the app
- A news section
- Links to useful websites
More features will be added over time, but this should be enough to keep you going.
